Biographical

Elizabeth is a highly successful litigator and negotiator with extensive experience.  As a litigator she had a reputation for bringing cases to an end by whatever means necessary.  Now with her mediation practice she is known for getting cases settled, and has a near perfect settlement rate.

For almost 30 years she has been involved with dispute resolution through her involvement with litigated matters at all levels of the courts and tribunals. Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to help conflicting parties resolve their disputes with an emphasis on fairness, approachability, and cost-efficiency. She brings a professional and congenial approach to working with counsel and their clients, together with the confidence and commitment, to get the job done with optimal results for all parties.

Elizabeth graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a Bachelor of Law in 1992. She was awarded her Master of Law degree in 1998 with a focus on civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution. Elizabeth brings to the mediation process the benefit of her experience judging as past Vice-Chair to the Licence Appeal Tribunal, and as an Arbitrator for the Building Arbitration Forum.  She was also selected as a mediator for Tarion’s roster of mediators.

The focus of Elizabeth’s mediation practice currently includes disability, life, critical illness, coverage issues, MVA, personal injury, and breach of contract cases.
